
Domestic Violence is an epidemic that affects an unknown number of people due to the under-reported nature of the issue. This abuse comes in many forms: physical abuse, mental abuse, verbal abuse, spiritual abuse, sexual abuse, and financial abuse. There is no particular social class, economic class, gender, race, or ethnicity who is exempt from domestic violence. Domestic violence is not limited to one certain class of individuals who are more prone to violence and there is no particular stereotype.
