Taylore N. Loy – Legal Assistant 

Taylore N. Loy is a Junior Paralegal at Sterk Family Law Group, P.C., where she supports attorneys and clients throughout the litigation process. In her role, Taylore assists with discovery matters and works closely with clients to gather and organize relevant documents, ensure required information is collected, and helps prepare case materials for attorney review.

Taylore assists with case preparation, maintaining files, tracking documentation, and supporting the legal team to help matters move forward efficiently. Her attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and communication style help clients feel supported during what can often be an overwhelming process.

Taylore joined Sterk Family Law Group in 2024, completed her paralegal studies in 2025, and is a member of the Illinois Paralegal Association.

Why did you choose to work in Family Law?  

I wanted to be able to give my positive spirit to others while they go through what could be a difficult time.  

How do you get away from stress and separate your work from your home life? 

I love coming home and cleaning rather than laying down and just watching tv to decompress from the day.  

Who is your hero? 

Batman because of his combination of human qualities, moral integrity, and unwavering commitment to justice makes him a powerful symbol of inspiration.  

 What is your favorite quote? 

“All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney.  

What do you do in your spare time? 

I like to go to the gym and workout, then go and eat lots of pasta.  

What is your biggest accomplishment? 

My biggest accomplishment is how I’ve overcome my childhood and have gotten things of my own, on my own. I’m proud of how independent I am becoming.  

Why did you choose to work at Sterk Family Law Group, P.C.?  

What attracted me was the love and passion the whole team has for family law. I love learning about law and I believe I will excel immensely at Gwendolyn J. Sterk and the Family Law Group, P.C.   

What is a fun fact about you? 

I am 100% Italian – my dad’s side is from Sicily, Italy and my mom’s side is from Florence, Italy.  

What is your favorite holiday and why? 

Thanksgiving is probably my favorite holiday because a lot of my family does not come together for Christmas given they have their own families and live out of state. We all manage to get together for Thanksgiving every year, plus the food is awesome too.  

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why? 

I would be a dolphin because they are supposedly smarter than humans and they get to swim all day. Plus, dolphins appear to be really happy and make people smile.
