Why did you choose to work in Family Law?
I chose to work in Family Law because I am passionate about helping individuals navigate complex and emotionally charged legal issues. Family Law allows me to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives during some of their most challenging moments. One part of Family Law I particularly enjoy is helping individuals through discovery. Many clients need to be aware of the full scope of their financial interests, and investigating this information to help them get their fair share is very fulfilling.

What is your greatest fulfillment in working in family law?
My greatest fulfillment in Family Law is witnessing the transformation in families and individuals when they successfully resolve their legal issues. It’s enriching to guide them through these tough times, and one of the most gratifying aspects is helping clients uncover their complete financial picture during the discovery process. This knowledge empowers them to make informed decisions and secure a fair outcome in their legal matters.

How do you get away from stress and separate your work from your home life?
It’s a juggling act, for sure! To kick stress to the curb and keep work and home life separate, I set some firm boundaries. When I need to de-stress, you’ll often find me with my nose in a good book or jotting things down in a journal. It’s not just about chilling; it’s about self-reflection and getting a bit more mindful.

Who is your hero?

My hero is Jane Austen, the celebrated English novelist. She was a trailblazer challenging the societal norms of the 1700s and defying the limitations placed on women of her era. Jane Austen’s exceptional contributions to literature are nothing short of remarkable, especially considering she lived when women were often seen more as property than as individuals. Her astute observations, combined with her witty prose, allowed her to craft enduring masterpieces. These works have survived the passage of time and maintained their prominent status in the literary world. Austen’s ability to break free from conventions and her enduring literary legacy serve as a continuous wellspring of inspiration.

What is your favorite quote?
“It’s no use going back to yesterday because I was a different person then.” – Lewis Carroll, “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.” This quote resonates with me as a reminder of personal growth and the importance of living in the present rather than dwelling on the past. It’s a reflection of the transformative journey we all undergo.

What do you do in your spare time?
In my downtime, I’m all about diving into new stuff. You know, picking up new languages, trying out different skills, and staying in the loop with the latest IT tricks. It’s like a never-ending journey of learning that broadens my horizons and keeps me buzzing with personal and professional growth. But that’s not all! I also love checking out new places, getting a feel for different environments, and savoring some of the coolest cultural dishes out there. I’m a total pop culture nerd. Catch me at a Comicon or an anime store any day; I’m in my element! These are my secret ingredients to unwind and keep that sweet work-life balance going.

What is your favorite holiday and why?
My favorite holiday is Halloween. I cherish this holiday because it provides a unique opportunity to spend quality time with my family in a fun and creative way. I particularly love the tradition of dressing up as different characters, which allows for self-expression and a touch of whimsy. The excitement and imagination surrounding Halloween make it a memorable and enjoyable celebration for me. It’s a time when we can all be someone different and embrace the joy of transformation.

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
If I could be any animal, no doubt, I’d be a panda. Pandas are gentle, adorable creatures known for their playful and carefree nature. They symbolize peace and harmony, and their bamboo-filled habitats reflect a serene environment. As a panda, I’d embrace the joy of living in a tranquil and beautiful world, fostering a sense of calm and contentment. Plus, pandas are ridiculously cute, who wouldn’t want to explore the world in their own slow-motion, black-and-white, and incredibly chilled panda style. It’s panda-dorable.
