What do clients look for in an attorney?

They look for an attorney that is dependable, communicative, and trustworthy.

Why did you choose Family Law?

My parents divorced when I was 5 years old and it was a very messy divorce. I took an interest in law school as I wanted to help other children by attempting to make divorces run smoothly, efficiently, and with as little impact as possible to the children.

What is your greatest fulfillment as a family law attorney?

Being able to help people through one of the toughest times in their life.

How do you get away from stress and separate your work from your home life?

I do things I personally enjoy, and make purposeful efforts to separate myself from work at the end of the day. For instance, I will take a walk, play online PC games with my friends, play Dungeons and Dragons, or even get together with my friends every Thursday for board games.

Who is your hero?

I don’t have one. There are so many people in my life that have been so impactful to who I am today. They are the hero’s of my life as I would not be where I am today without them.

What is your favorite quote?

What do you do in your spare time?

Spend time with my boyfriend, watch anime, play online PC games with my friends, play Dungeons and Dragons, play board games with my friends, and I dabble in photography as a hobby.

How do you like working with Gwendolyn J. Sterk and the Family Law Group, P.C.? 

I love the collaborative dynamic of the firm and how amazingly friendly everyone is.

What is your favorite holiday and why?

Halloween because its a holiday for fun and enjoying the weirdness that life can bring.

Are you connected to the counties in which you practice?

Yes, I worked and lived in DuPage County for a long time. Worked in Cook, DuPage, and Will county for my entire career (since November 2018). My Great Aunt (grandmothers sister) lives in Naperville, and I also have friends still that live in DuPage and Will County.

If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?

A Spider Monkey. They are cute, smart, fast, have thumbs, and their tail is like another hand. With the amount of times I wish I had a third hand, I’d enjoy being a spider monkey.
